Kicking off the launch of his new album ‘Back To Square One’ in style, London-based rapper Digga D Comes to Kershkicks to host a special album signing and music video shoot in our very own Liverpool and Manchester stores. Starting off in the Liverpool store, it was apparent from early in that this was going to be a big day; queues formed, excitement increased, and the energy was through the roof for Digga’s arrival.

Who Is Digga D?
Born in West London in 2000, real name Rhys Angelo Emile Herbert, Digga D has been active in the grime and drill scene since 2015, rising to fame in 2017 after the release of his freestyle for Mixtape Madness’s ‘Next Up?’. In 2019, his debut mixtape, Double Tap Diaries, was released, and in the years following he has dropped hit songs such as “Woi” which gained worldwide recognition, and multiple works with the likes of AJ Tracey, ArrDee, and Maverick Sabre, to name a few. There is no doubt that Digga D’s success is in its early days, and the release of his latest album is sure to grow his audience further and result in more hits.

What Went Down On The Day?
Coming to the store between 2 and 6pm, the album signing kicked off in style. Digga took a look around the store and tried his chances at the mini basketball hoop, resulting in him losing a bet and having to buy a pair of Supreme Air Force 1s for one of his boys. The endless queue outside of the store then got their chance to grab a photo with the man himself and a signed copy of his latest album, with some teary eyes involved from mega fans.

Look Out For The Music Video
As part of his album signing, we got an exclusive look at some behind-the-scenes filming of Digga’s new music video, involving all of his fans and the Kershkicks store in the background.
