Let's Go Golfing! The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Golf

Whether you are a lover of the game or not, there is no denying that golf has exploded in popularity within the last couple of years. It is no longer seen as an inaccessible sport, and a variety of online personalities and celebrities have joined in on the joys of the game, helping grow its audience of both players and fans. One of the most notable celebrities who has taken up the game recently is DJ Khaled, who frequently posts videos of him playing at home, shouting his signature slogan “Let’s go golfing!”. This may well have led to the inspiration of superstar rapper Travis Scott’s next collaborative effort, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Golf. However, it’s not just celebrities who are wearing special edition golf shoes and adding a more casual approach to the game. Many PGA Tour players have been spotted in such pairs as the Air Max 1 Golf, custom Jordan 1 Low Golf iterations, and special versions of the Jordan 3, 4, and 5.

When looking at previous releases such as the Reverse Mocha and Olive, the upcoming golf iteration doesn’t stray too far in terms of both colourway and the use of material. The upcoming pair utilises a mix of premium nubuck, leather, and mesh, whilst the colour scheme opts for a combination of neutral olive, black, sail, and light lemon twist. The olive tone is prominent throughout the majority of the upper, complimented by sail overlays that contrast nicely against the black swoosh. Signature Cactus Jack motifs are printed on the inner midfoot, whilst stitched co-branding on the heel appears in the eye-catching lemon twist shade, as well as a Jumpman Golf logo on the tongue tags.

After months of speculation, we finally have a release date.
