Special Guests at Kershkicks: February Edition

The month of February was a special one at Kershkicks, with a variety of new releases such as the Nike Air Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined, New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex JJJJound, as well as drops from Supreme and Broken Planet Market providing the fresh wardrobe additions. However, it’s the people that walk through the doors every day that create those memories and really help us thrive as a brand, and it’s even more exciting when we get those special guests at Kershkicks who pull up and treat themselves to some new kicks. This month we had Manchester United’s Scott McTominay and Kobbie Mainoo pull up to treat themselves to new heat, and we flew out to Barcelona to sort new heat for Martin Braithwaite of Espanyol. Scott and Kobbie are regular customers at Kershkicks and we always appreciate when they make the effort to come into store and purchase from us. This past weekend’s Manchester derby might not have gone their way, but both players show a promising future with the club and are well-loved by the fans. At least they can enjoy their new kicks in the meantime!

As well as having some special guests coming through the doors of our store, we also had the incredible opportunity of flying to Barcelona to meet with Martin Braithwaite of RCD Espanyol de Barcelona. We managed to secure some tickets to the match between Espanyol and Levante UD, a thrilling game resulting in a close 2-1 victory to Espanyol thanks to a 99th minute winner. Martin Braithwaite had a stellar game, knocking in a goal in the 2nd minute to get things off to a hot start, and attempting a cross assist which resulted in a handball from Alex Munoz and a penalty kick. Braithwaite opted to take the penalty, knocking it in to secure the win for Espanyol, ending the game on a high. Victory was made that much sweeter with the addition of some new kicks we brought over for him, including the Nike SB Dunk Low "Yuto Horigome" and Nike SB Dunk Low "Celadon".
