The silhouette has remained largely unchanged, a testament to its timeless appeal. The grey gradient, a nod to the original design, has become synonymous with the Air Max 95, and its presence in the "Pure Purple" iteration is a treat for the purists.

Any mention of a new Air Max 95 colourway is sure to go down a treat with the diehard 110 fans out there, especially when its presence graces the OG aesthetic of the silhouette, the grey gradient that everyone has come to love. The latest “Pure Purple” iteration follows all of the same cues as some of the most iconic pairs we’ve come to love, such as the “Neon” and “Pink Foam”, but includes some minor differences that are sure to set these apart from the rest.

Transforming a Shoe: The Impact of Colourways.

Constructed from a leather upper with varying tones of grey fading throughout the gradient design, the plush iteration has all of the classic elements of an OG whilst an eye-catching pop of purple appears on the lace loops, Air units, and mini swoosh that is stitched toward the back of the heel. 

A white mesh base sits beneath the lace loops, providing a textural contrast that works well against the leather and allows the subtle use of colour to do the talking.
