The New Year may have just started, but 2024 for Jordan brand is already looking to be full of pairs both new and revived, including the much-anticipated Air Jordan 1 High ‘Black Toe Reimagined. If you’re a fan of Jordan 1 High’s, there will undoubtedly have been a time when you hoped to add the ‘Black Toe’ J1 High to your rotation. The storied pair bleeds simplicity, is full of story, and matches any outfit, and this will be the first re-release since 2016, albeit a few other iterations such as the Union LA collaboration and the ‘Satin Black Toe’ which dropped in women’s sizing.

The Story of the Nike Air Jordan 1 High Black Toe

Originally dropped in 1985 and seen many times on the feet of Michael Jordan as he graced the court, the Nike Air Jordan 1 High Black Toe is an iconic pair that draws inspiration from the signature team colours of the Chicago Bulls. The all-leather sneaker boasts a simple black and white base, complemented by pops of red on the outsole, ankle collar, and heel area, with the black toe area inspiring the moniker of the beloved iteration.

When Are They Dropping?

Rumoured to drop toward the tail end of 2024, the Nike Air Jordan 1 High Black Toe Reimagined is set to coincide with the release of a low-top iteration in the same colour scheme. Set to be a part of the ‘reimagined’ series, it is unclear which details will be included that differ them from the original black toe pairs, but we can expect to see such things as aged effects and cracked leather, similar to the Nike Air Jordan 1 High Chicago ‘Lost and Found’. Whilst we await the release, keep your eyes peeled for more information and shop our latest Jordan releases below.
