EBay Live x KershKicks at Outernet London Our Exclusive Recap

Yesterday was one for the books. As soon as we stepped into Outernet London we knew this was not going to be your standard retail event. eBay transformed the entire space into a fully immersive eBay Live Superstore bringing the buzz of livestream shopping into a physical arena and we were hyped to be part of it. Towering LED screens lit up the venue, crowds were already gathering, and the energy felt like a mix between a sneaker drop, a tech expo and a live show. For us at KershKicks getting to bring our world into such an iconic London space was something special.

Our livestream slot was one of the highlights of the day. We streamed alongside some incredible talent including Nella Rose, AJ Odudu and Peter Crouch which brought even more energy and eyes onto the event. We came prepared with heat including pre loved gems, rare pairs, retro classics and a few surprises we had been holding back just for this moment. Being able to showcase the stories behind each pair and watching people bid live in the space and online gave the whole experience a real sense of connection. Sneaker culture has always been about community and yesterday reminded us how powerful it is to bring that community together in a shared space even when it is blended with digital.

One thing we loved about the event was the focus on pre loved and sustainable fashion. That is something we truly believe in at KershKicks. Seeing a major platform push circular fashion front and centre especially during a huge shopping week shows where the culture is heading. It is not just about buying new. It is about preserving the legacy and value of the pairs that already exist. Yesterday proved that second hand does not mean second best.

From the moment the livestream kicked off the crowd energy pushed the whole thing to another level. Bids flew in, people cheered when they secured steals and the wraparound screens inside Outernet made everything feel cinematic. It was the first time many people experienced sneaker shopping as a live show and from where we were standing it looked like the future.

Being part of eBay Live in such an innovative retail experience was an honour. We were able to share our passion for sneakers with longtime collectors as well as newcomers discovering the culture for the first time. If this is a sign of where shopping is heading blending digital excitement with real life interaction then we are only getting started.

Huge thanks to everyone who pulled up, tuned in, placed bids or showed love online. Yesterday was a big moment for the sneaker community, for pre loved culture and for us as a team. Stay locked in because we have more heat coming.
