Kershkicks Hosts Complex Sneaker Shopping with Marcus Rashford

Starting in 2011 with the legendary Joe La Puma at the helm and rapper Jim Jones as the first guest, Complex Sneaker Shopping has a longstanding history in the sneaker world and has played host to a multitude of celebrity names throughout the years. Such personalities include Roger Federer, Cristiano Ronaldo, 50 Cent, DJ Khaled, Future, and Wale, to name a few. The concept is simple, Joe guides the guests around a sneaker store, asking them some fun questions and finding out their favourite sneakers or what they normally wear, and then they choose some pairs and cash out at the end of the show.

When it comes to owning a sneaker store, one of the pivotal goals for most will be appearing on Complex Sneaker Shopping and playing host to a star wanting to cop some grails. This was exactly the case for us at Kershkicks with the first Manchester store opening 4 years ago, the end goal was always to join those OG US stores who have appeared on the channel so many times and eventually play our part in the history of the show. It was with great pride then when that opportunity arose, we grabbed it with both hands and relished the fun of it all. Hosting Complex Sneaker Shopping with Marcus Rashford, Kershkicks is the first UK store to appear on Complex Sneaker Shopping, and hopefully, it’s not the last time.

In typical Sneaker Shopping fashion, many topics were discussed and we were lucky to get an insight into Rashford’s favourite sneakers and clothing, which sneakers he has worn on different occasions, and some special pairs he has in in collection. The most iconic is without a doubt a pair of Nike Air Max 97s gifted to him by Cristiano Ronaldo, one which Rashford has vowed to never wear and keep stashed away for fear of messing them up and not forgiving himself. He has also been spotted in the Air Jordan 1 High x Dior, even doing keepy-uppy’s in them, but apparently, he has two pairs so that makes it all okay, right?

Marcus pulled through and copped plenty of heat including the; April Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk, Off-White x Air Jordan 1 “UNC”, Nike Dunk Low “Purple Pulse”, Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low “Rammellzee”, Staple x Nike SB Dunk “Panda Pigeon”, Concepts x Nike SB Dunk Orange “Lobster Orange”, Nocta x Nike Air Force 1 Low “CLB”, and Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Wheat”. We’re a big fan of all of these pairs and Marcus was lucky to obtain the April Skateboard Dunks before the official release.
