Let’s Get Ready for Yuto Horigome’s Second Effort
The Paris Olympic games are creeping up closer and closer and with it there are some clean releases such as the upcoming 'Safari Olympics' pair we posted last month. However, one notable upcoming pair is the second collaboration from Olympic skateboarder Yuto Horigome, with a colourway dubbed ‘Asparagus’ due to the upper sporting an earthy combination of green and brown tones. The first effort went down well with sneaker fans and was considered one of the best releases of 2023 and was a good glimpse at the creative efforts from Yuto and the vision he sees for his collaborations.

Breaking Down the Details
The Nike SB Dunk Low x Yuto Horigome ‘Asparagus’ sports a clean upper of mixed tones, with sesame brown dressing most of the base in a clean suede finish, whilst overlays of green complete the asparagus-themed aesthetic. The heel area sees a dark brown take effect offering a nice contrast, whilst a dark green leather swoosh sits atop the upper and Yuto’s signature feather logo is printed on the heel, the same as his first collaboration. There are a few contrasts from his original collaboration in the fact the uppers are speckled with black and white splatter, the collar is finished in a stratified finish that is reminiscent of the base of a skateboard, and a grain on the upper lace loops provides a luxurious finish.

When Are They Releasing?
Although they are not set to drop until Spring 2025, the Nike SB Dunk Low x Yuto Horigome 'Asparagus' are undoubtedly going to be a pair that people are looking forward to.
