About The Role
The Sneaker Authenticator plays a vital role in the Kersh Kicks team and is responsible for implementing the strict process we have in place to ensure the authenticity of our products. This role requires you to inspect and authenticate sneakers to make sure they fit our high and industry standards.
You will interact will colleagues across multiple aspects of the business to support our retail and e-commerce stores.
The Day To Day
· You will carry our regular checks of new and existing inventory
· You will record your findings against each product within our back end systems
· You will keep up to date with new releases
· You will inspect sneakers adhering to strict standards of condition and authenticity
· You will deal directly with customer queries relating to authenticity
· You will collaborate with colleagues and team members to complete daily tasks
· You will be enthusiastic about our marketplace including sneakers, streetwear, and accessories.
· You will support Kersh Kicks across multiple areas of store operation by having a good working knowledge of the processes behind all services and procedures, in the stock room management and shop floor
· You will always comply with our company policies and procedures
Who We’re Looking For
· You will have at least 3 year’s experience relating to luxury goods authenticity or spotting counterfeit goods.
· You will relentlessly develop your skills by keeping up with trends in the counterfeit market place
· You will be able to have clear and effective communication with customers and colleagues
· You will be passionate about our industry and the market in which we operate to maximise opportunities
· You will set high standards and be proud of the work you do and as part of a team that delivers exceptional outcomes
· You will be able to work as a team and collaborate with other colleagues to complete daily tasks on time
· You will be able quickly and effectively problem-solve and possess good conflict-resolution skills
· You will be organised and able to adapt and learn quickly
· You will have had experience with ecommerce and epos systems
· You will have a basic knowledge of mathematics
· You will be expected to be flexible with your working hours
